Treatments

Individual Therapy Sessions
 

Therapeutic interventions are designed to assist individuals, couples and families to learn strategies to cope better in difficult situations.

 

After an initial session, individual therapy sessions are often recommended. They can be a stream of fortnightly or monthly appointments.

 

Therapy is provided for individuals who have been diagnosed with:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders (including Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not-Otherwise Specified)

  • Anxiety e.g., obsessions & compulsions, worries and perfectionism, worry and generalised anxiety

  • Depression

  • Carer and partner burnout and distress

  • Eating problems/disorders

  • Grief and loss

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is commonly used
